Most of the MVC fee figures in this calculator — including the education fee, the per‑beneficial‑interest enrollment/initiation fee and its minimum, the ROFR waiver, and the transfer fee — come from this document. Check it first if a number here looks wrong.
- Recording charges are $10 for the first page and $8.50 for each additional page. These are fixed statewide by Fla. Stat. §28.24 and are the same in every Florida county. The $18.50 default assumes a two-page deed — adjust it if yours runs longer. Orange County Comptroller — recording fees
- Transfer tax (Florida documentary stamp tax) is $0.70 per $100 of consideration, based on the purchase price rounded up to the next $100. The rate has been unchanged since 1992. - Education fee applies to owners new to the points system. If you already hold points or are an enrolled owner, this fee is waived. Disclosure Guide (PDF)
- Enrollment / initiation fee is $750 per beneficial interest with a $3,000 minimum — confirmed in the Disclosure Guide. Each beneficial interest represents 250 points in the trust. - Annual club dues (formerly exchange dues) are based on total points owned, including weeks enrolled in Abound. This calculator only factors in the points in this resale purchase, so if you already own points your actual tier may be higher. 2026 rates:
- $255 — Owner and Select (under 7,000 points)
- $300 — Executive and Presidential (7,000–14,999 points)
- $320 — Chairman's Club (15,000–29,999 points)
- $400 — Reserve (about 30,000–49,999 points)
- $750 — Pinnacle (about 50,000+ points)
