Hello all,I'm an enrolled owner who has and most likely will continue to occupy my owned week.  However I am interested in renting points to use to reserve stays in MVC's new urban locations (DC, NYC).  How do I find out what's available and amount of points needed, when I've already booked my week?  Does the calendar open 12 months ahead, even for < 7 night stays?Appreciate any step-by-step guidance to navigate this new process...thanks!

Depends upon your level in the program as an enrolled owner – if you have less than 7000 points, you can do one day at a time, less than 10 months out, 7 day minimum 10-13 months out – (there is a non-recoverable 20% fee 13-12 months out for those less than 4000 points).  Those in excess of 7000 & above get 1 day at a time from 13 months out.  Hope that is helpful.  Transferring points DO NOT COUNT to your level – only your weeks you have purchased and any points you may purchase in the future.  All the best, SeaDoc

/Thanks, SeaDoc!So I take it that my first step would be to call Marriott to check on availability & point requirement for my desired travel time...then followed by renting the points needed here?
