Gemini:I have never come across anybody that owns multiple timeshare companies. I can't imagine how you keep track of each of them. I would love to hear your opinions regarding the pros/cons of the various companies. I recently stayed at the Westin Kierland Villas and was very impressed with the Westin property. I was thinking about buying in but decided it would be more beneficial to upgrade my Marriott status to Premier Plus. I did sign up for the SPG AmEx because I can build a lot of SPG points with the credit card.Curious

I also would like to hear about pro/cons of various timeshares. I am also curious about the benefits of joining TUG. I post on the forums, but beyond that am not sure why join? I have learned so much there.

Chunkygal:I find it interesting that Marriott appears to be the only ones hosting an online forum about their hotels (and MVCI people participate). If anybody knows of forums for Hyatt, Starwood, Disney, etc. please post the links! In an attempt to learn more about other programs I try to talk with other owners when we are at a time share. I will also go through the sales presentations offered by the timeshare. You should get cash/coupons in return for your time. (Be prepared to say NO, or it becomes an expensive lessson) Also, sometimes when you say no they suddenly have other things to offer.
